Quality Assurance Regulatory Affairs Manager

OUR CLIENT IS A GROWING SKINCARE BRAND LOOKING FOR A STRONG QA/REGULATORY SPECIALIST IN LA!

Position Summary

The Quality Assurance Specialist will play a key role in supporting the product quality lifecycle — from formulation through commercialization. This hybrid role requires a meticulous and organized individual experienced in batch approval, stability and claims testing, and regulatory registrations across global markets. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and bring both precision and passion to everything from documentation to cross-functional coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Batch Release & Quality Review
  • Review batch records, Certificates of Analysis (COAs), and manufacturing documents to ensure conformance with product specifications.
  • Approve batches for release in alignment with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Stability & Claims Testing
  • Coordinate and track stability studies for new and existing products.
  • Collaborate with R&D and Product Development teams to support claims substantiation protocols.
  • Maintain test documentation and prepare summary reports for internal review and external stakeholders.
  • Documentation & Compliance
  • Maintain accurate and organized quality records, including product specifications, change controls, and non-conformance reports.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), QA checklists, and QA logs.
  • Regulatory Registrations & Submissions
  • Support product registrations and notifications for global markets, including WERCS, EU CPNP, and other regional portals.
  • Ensure proper documentation and formatting for Safety Data Sheets (SDS), International Fragrance Association (IFRA) standards, and ingredient listings for compliance purposes.
  • Cross-Functional Support
  • Work closely with Operations, R&D, and Supply Chain to identify and resolve quality-related issues.
  • Liaise with external labs and manufacturers as needed to coordinate testing and documentation.
