Role DescriptionThis is a full‑time, on‑site role as a Kennel Technician at Vet Now Animal Urgent Care in Studio City, CA
. The Kennel Technician supports the medical team by ensuring hospitalized and boarding patients receive attentive, compassionate, and safe care while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient hospital environment. This role is essential to patient comfort, infection control, and overall hospital flow during urgent and emergent cases.
- Provide daily care for hospitalized patients, including feeding, watering, walking, cleaning, and comfort care
- Monitor patients closely and report changes in behavior, appetite, or condition to the medical team
- Assist with safe animal handling and restraint as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kennels, treatment areas, and hospital equipment
- Support technicians and veterinarians during busy urgent care shifts
- Assist with laundry, stocking, and organization of hospital supplies
- Follow hospital protocols for biosecurity, safety, and infection control
- Uphold and promote a culture of teamwork, compassion, and excellence in patient care

- Full‑time — rotating weekly 3x10 and 4x10 hour shifts
