• 24/7 multi-specialty referral and emergency hospital
• Established oncology service with an experienced boarded oncologist
• Separated treatment area for chemotherapy services, utilizing Pha Seal safety technology
• Specialty services include surgery, internal medicine, neurology, and critical care
• Strong teaching program including rotating interns, specialty interns, and surgical residents
• Diagnostic capabilities: in-house laboratory, digital radiography, on-site spiral CT and MRI, color flow Doppler ultrasound, portable ultrasound, and an oxygen cage system
• Opportunity to participate with the MARS Oncology Advisory Board
• Located approximately nine miles north of downtown Los Angeles

As a member of the VCA family, eligible full-time employees will be rewarded with a comprehensive package, including:

• Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials. Daily rate between $2,000 and $2,500 per 10 hrs. shift on a relief basis.
• This position may also be eligible for other variable pay programs.

• A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university or equivalent
• Licensure in good standing to practice in the relevant state, or the ability to obtain
• Residency Trained or Diplomate Board Certification
• A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics
