, a state‑of‑the‑art animal hospital in Marina del Rey, CA, seeks an exceptional veterinarian leader to serve as our Medical Director. This is an incredible opportunity for the right candidate to shape the future of our rapidly growing practice.
As Medical Director, you will spearhead all medical operations and teams to deliver the highest quality care. You will work alongside our 3 outstanding Associate DVMs, experienced Hospital Manager, and skilled technicians in a collaborative and supportive environment.
What Success Looks Like- Clinical Excellence:
Establish and maintain the highest standards of veterinary care by implementing best practices and guiding medical protocols. - Team Leadership:
Inspire and develop our veterinary team through mentorship, training, and fostering a positive hospital culture. - Strategic Partnership:
Collaborate with the Hospital Manager and regional leadership to identify growth opportunities and address challenges. - Quality Assurance:
Monitor clinical outcomes, provide constructive feedback, and implement improvements to continuously elevate the level of medicine practiced at our hospital. - Client Advocacy:
Ensure exceptional client experiences by guiding communication standards and fostering trust between our practice and the community we serve.
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine with current state license and DEA registration.
- Exceptional clinical skills with comprehensive knowledge of veterinary medicine.
- Strong leadership abilities with experience mentoring and developing veterinary professionals.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Outstanding communication skills that inspire confidence in team members and clients.
- Sound business acumen with understanding of veterinary practice operations.
- Adaptability and composure when managing complex situations or competing priorities.
- Collaborative approach to working with hospital leadership and regional teams.
- Genuine compassion for animals and commitment to the highest standards of care.
- Willingness to serve as the veterinary face of the practice in professional and regulatory contexts.
- Competitive salary ($180k - $250k annually) + production
