Job Responsibilities- Execute preventive care, diagnostic workups, outpatient surgeries, and dental procedures during relief shifts.
- Partner with the area medical director before shifts to review case comfort levels.
- Deliver patient care using the hospital’s digital patient records, surgical suite, Butterfly IQ+ handheld ultrasound imaging, digital and dental X‑ray, Vetology Radiograph Interpretation AI, and on‑site labs.
- Maintain the appointment‑based model that manages traffic and ensures timely departure of patients.
- Contribute to the monthly newsletter highlighting policy, product updates, and clinic news.

- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine state license in good standing.
- Appropriate state‑specific licensing to perform all shift functions.

- Available for shift selection without a specified minimum or maximum.
California state bid rates average $125.00–$200.00 /hr. Shift rates may vary depending on clinic location and duration of the selected shift.
