Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health NIGHTS
Mission Community Hospital is currently hiring for a Registered Nurse. The Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct patient care in the behavioral/mental healthcare setting. The RN exhibits the ability to perform clinical/nursing functions within the scope of nursing practice. The RN provides leadership and direction to other licensed and non‑licensed staff. The position will primarily work with behaviorally or mentally ill adults through the geriatric patient population, including gestational females less than 20 weeks in term.
Care is provided in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional and/or developmental age of the individuals served. The RN must be able to communicate with the Administrative Director, Manager, Charge RN and co-workers as appropriate about changes in patients’ clinical condition, including vital signs, behavioral and physical symptomatology. The RN responds quickly to changes in patient status.
