Seeking a first-rate Nurse Practitioner (NP) with at least 5 years of cardiology experience to join a premier cardiology practice located in the beautiful South Bay Area of Southern California. Torrance Memorial Medical Center is located within walking distance of the Practice and is rated among the top 50 hospitals in the nation. The area is graced by excellent coastal air quality and stunning nearby residential communities (Palos Verdes Peninsula, Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach, and Manhattan Beach), each of which are within 15 minutes of the Practice.
Stable, affluent surrounding community includes active and retired aerospace engineering professionals.
Our excellent reputation over the last 30 years has provided us with the opportunity to expand and bring on board a Nurse Practitioner to complement our solo cardiologist. The Practice is staffed by an exceptional team of professional, dedicated individuals who utilize the latest advances in computer technology (including artificial intelligence (AI), voice recognition software, and a highly productive EHR system).
An on-site IAC-accredited echocardiography laboratory provides high-resolution 2-D and 3-D imaging for our patients. Comprehensive cardiology patient care is provided in a pleasant work environment. The practice strives to provide high-quality service to all of our patients. The Practice does not involve itself with any HMO insurance.
- Clinical support to the Practice in both outpatient and inpatient settings
- Shares responsibility with cardiologist by:
- Conducting histories and cardiovascular physical examinations
- Performing procedures (endovenous ablation and sclerotherapy)
- Evaluating laboratory test results
- Review and interpret electrocardiograms, echo cardiographic studies, and ambulatory monitoring
- Venous ultrasound imaging studies, etc. (training is provided)
- Formulating and communicating treatment plans treatment
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctorate of Nursing(or equivalent level of cardiovascular experience)
- Graduation from an accredited NP program
- Recent and extensive cardiology clinical experience of at least five years
