Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit

Client in West Hollywood, CA is looking for an Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse to help them out for 13 weeks.

Qualifications / Requirements
  • One to three years experience as a Registered Nurse preferred
  • Other certifications may be required for this position
  • Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills; ability to read and comprehend written instructions; PC skills
  • Physical abilities: remain stationary, move equipment (50‑100 lbs), push/pull, bend
Core Responsibilities
  • Communicate and collaborate with physicians and other health team members
  • Provide and coordinate patient care with other health team members
  • Monitor patients’ responses to interventions and report outcomes
  • Administer medications as ordered with appropriate documentation
  • Monitor and evaluate patients before, during, and post‑procedure depending on unit
  • Share on‑call responsibilities with a 30‑minute response time if required
  • Maintain cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies
  • Transport patients as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Essential Skills
  • Interpersonal skills – positive attitude and professional appearance
  • Technical/motor skills – fine manipulation, push/pull, move about with equipment
  • Mental requirements – cope with frequent public contact, meet deadlines under pressure, work with minimal supervision
  • Sensory – visual acuity and effective communication
