Roze Room is a leading provider of Hospice and Palliative Care, celebrating 25 years of service to Southern California communities. Seeking Full Time and Per Diem LVNs to provide continuous care for hospice patients in their homes.

Must be willing to drive to different areas. Shifts Available 4pm-12am & 12am-8am. Hourly Rate $32-35 + mileage (Experienced based).

Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced California licensed vocational nurse (LVN) to work on-call and/or continuous care shifts. The LVN works under the direction of a Registered Nurse and provides nursing and palliative care to assigned hospice patients.

• Provides intermittent visits and/or shifts of skilled nursing care
• Performs prescribed medical treatments, including pain management and symptom control
• Provides nursing observations
• Provides teaching regarding the expected course of the disease, care techniques and other health measures to the patient, family or other primary caregivers
• Participates in the care plan development and implementation with other members of the hospice interdisciplinary team

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of vocational/practical nursing
• Current LVN license within the State. Certification in Hospice and Palliative Vocational/Practical Nursing preferred
• At least one-year experience as LVN/LPN
• Valid driver's license, and auto insurance, reliable/well maintained transportation
