LVN, Healthcare Nursing

Congregate Living facility for 12 residents located in Los Angeles, CA. We are seeking a full-time LVNs to provide medical services and advice to patients in a long term care facility. A full time LVNs will ensure that all medical needs of the patients are met and will work closely with the doctors and administrators to ensure that all treatments and medications orders are administered correctly.

The successful candidate for this position will have experience working in a long term care facility and will be able to work in a multi-person team environment. Responsibilities:
* Provide and document safe, competent nursing care based on the health needs of the patient.
* Perform age-appropriate patient assessment according to established protocols and procedures.
* Ensure medical-surgical patients have safe, comfortable visits in the facility.
* Explain medical procedure and treatment to patients and family members.
* Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff including infection control standards.
* Work as part of a team.
* Communicate effectively with physicians, visitors, technicians, and co-workers.
* Develop a rapport with patients by demonstrating empathy and compassion.
