• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, order necessary diagnostic exams, and create customized treatment plans
• Diagnose and manage acute, episodic, or chronic conditions, collaborating with physicians or practicing independently as appropriate
• Educate patients and families about wellness, disease prevention, and management strategies
• Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with your professional scope
• Engage in patient follow-up and chronic condition management

• Accurately document all patient interactions and care within electronic health records (EHR)

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from a recognized Nurse Practitioner program

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in California
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or an equivalent
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to obtain within 90 days)
