• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Prescribe medications and manage chronic conditions.
• Provide patient education and counseling on healthy lifestyle choices.
• Perform procedures as permitted by state regulations and NP specialty.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care.
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly.

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a Nurse Practitioner specialty (e.g., pediatrics).
• Active and unencumbered California APRN license.
• National certification as an NP in a relevant specialty (e.g., AANP).
• Typically at least 1 year of clinical experience in a related setting (varies by assignment).
• Strong clinical knowledge, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
• Proficiency in conducting physical examinations and procedures relevant to pediatric critical care.
