Travel RN - Interventional Radiology​/IR - Interventional Radiology

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Interventional Radiology RN with neuro thrombectomy expertise and a current CA RN license.

Job Details

• Work in a hospital Interventional Radiology unit,

• Care provided to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients,

• Day shift schedule of 4x10-hour shifts from 07:00 to 17:30,

• On-call required for 10-12 shifts per schedule, including 3-4 weekend on-call shifts with overnight and rotating weekend coverage,

• Procedures include angioplasty, neuro thrombectomy, TIPS, nephrostomy, stent placements, lung biopsy, central venous access, dialysis grafts, and more,

• Uses Sunrise Allscripts, McKesson, and SBAR for documentation,

Job Requirements

• Active CA RN license required,

• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required,

• Prior Interventional Radiology nursing experience with neuro thrombectomies is required,

• Proficient in specialized IR procedures and procedural sedation monitoring,

• Participate in a wide range of advanced interventional and neurovascular procedures,

• Be prepared for frequent on-call and rotating weekend duties,

• Two recent professional references from a supervisor within the last 2 years are required for consideration,
