Registered Nurse

Medcor is currently looking for a Full Time Registered Nurse to provide high quality clinical care and administrative support in an employer based clinic setting in Los Angeles CA The clinic provides occupational health and urgent care services for a workplace population The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday; day shift This candidate will also need to be flexible and be able to cover other shifts as needed overnightsweekends The rate of pay for this role is 5714 per hour Full benefits are also offered Successful candidates will possess solid clinical skills have at least two years experience in Occupational Health Emergency Department Urgent Care or applicable experience A typical day in the life of a Medcor Nurse Provide superior customer service to clinic patients and Medcors client

Document using state of the art electronic medical software

Treat injuries and illnesses according to Medcors evidence based medicine protocols

Respond to medical emergencies

Administer screening and testing

Provide wellness education

Assist with daily clinic operations including clerical IT medical supply management and medical equipment maintenance

Assist with Workers Compensation claim initiation FYI not case management and OSHA record keeping

You Must Have valid unrestricted California RN license Have a valid Basic Life Support certification AHA or ARCHave a positive and outgoing personality

Be good at prioritizing and multitasking

Be willing to go above and beyond to give excellent customer service

Love people and giving them the best care humanly possible

You Should Be comfortable working alone or independently in a clinic environment

Have a minimum of 2 years field experience

Be able to follow processes and procedures with excellence

Be proficient with Microsoft Word Excel Outlook and documenting using an EMRPossess excellent verbal and written communication skills
