Mission Community Hospital is seeking a compassionate and skilled Wound Care LVN to join our dedicated healthcare team in Panorama City, CA. In this role, you will provide specialized wound care treatment and support to patients, ensuring optimal healing and comfort. You will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities- Assess, plan, and implement wound care treatment plans under the supervision of medical staff.
- Perform wound cleansing, dressing changes, and application of topical medications following established protocols.
- Monitor patient progress, document wound status, and report any changes or concerns promptly.
- Educate patients and their families on wound care management and preventive measures.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for wound care procedures.
- Valid Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) certification in the state of California.
- Prior experience in wound care or related clinical setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of wound care techniques, infection control, and patient safety.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- BLS certification required.
- Competitive hourly wage of $36.00 - $38.00
