RN Nurse Educator; Critical Care East Los Angeles

Join Prospect Medical Holdings, Inc. as an RN Nurse Educator (Critical Care) in East Los Angeles. This full-time, variable shift role offers a salary range of $113,400 to $155,950 per year, based on experience and skills.

• Plan, design, and implement education programs and professional development initiatives for nursing staff.
• Collaborate with nursing directors and department managers to assess educational needs and develop orientation programs.
• Ensure staff competencies and skills are current and relevant.
• Oversee orientation of new hires and new graduate programs.
• Develop educational materials and facilitate training sessions through various methods.
• Promote staff competence and support policy and procedural changes.
• Participate in quality improvement and research projects related to clinical education.

Required:

• Active RN license in California
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
• Effective communication skills in English
• Ability to work variable shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Minimum of three years clinical experience
• Hospital Fire and Life Safety Card (for Hollywood and Van Nuys campuses)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing

Preferred:

• Master of Science in Nursing
• Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) or specialty certification
• Instructor status for BLS and ACLS
