Position Summary

Advance your career as the Assistant Director, Annual Giving/Digital Campaigns with UCLA’s Central Annual Giving team. Join us and bring your creativity, organizational and persuasive communication skills to a role where you can learn about and expand your fundraising skills while driving our digital campaigns and Annual Giving initiatives. As an Assistant Director, you will coordinate and support all aspects of direct mail solicitations and email appeals, creating timely and inspiring campaign and donor communications campus-wide as well as digital philanthropy efforts including crowdfunding initiatives, Giving Days, and other digital campaigns requiring project management, platform coordination, and email production.

Crowdfunding and our other digital campaigns provide critical fundraising support for innovative projects by asking many donors to give whatever they can to raise a specified amount (typically referred to as a goal) during a specific time period (typically referred to as a campaign) via digital platforms (e.g., email, social media, websites) to ultimately fund a project or initiative. You will be part of building a better, brighter future with Bruins leading the way through innovation and transformation.

Fundraising makes this possible and our teams are dedicated and motivated to connecting donors with opportunities to strengthen support and move forward UCLA’s priorities. You will also work in partnership with our team and others on a variety of projects such as those supporting stewardship efforts as well as special writing assignments, donor relations projects and creating unique print and digital materials.

UCLA is an exceptional place to work, with limitless opportunities and meaningful work. We also help you achieve financial wellbeing with a pension and other retirement savings plans.
