Overview

Fur & Feather Animal Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes. Our mission is to protect and care for homeless and unwanted animals by providing medical care, rehabilitation, and adoption within a safe, no-kill environment. We are committed to fighting animal cruelty, educating the public on responsible pet ownership, spay/neuter, and basic animal care, and supporting the rehabilitation of wildlife.

Our vision is to build California’s first fully solar-powered, 65-acre no-kill sanctuary, serving as overflow for city and county shelters while assisting traditional rescues with critical medical care and foster programs. We are currently fundraising to purchase land and build safe, permanent homes where animals can heal, thrive, and live in healthy surroundings until they are adopted. This sanctuary will protect vulnerable lives and give every animal the chance to reach their full potential.

• As Tik Tok Social Media Manager, you will develop and implement our Social Media strategy to increase online presence, support marketing and fundraising efforts, and meet campaign goals.
• You will work directly with the Director to plan video and behind-the-scenes content, produce, edit and film high-quality social media posts, source imagery, and design promotional material when necessary.
• You must be comfortable creating Reels and Tik Toks for our accounts, as well as content for Instagram and Facebook.
• Some posts will be fun, while others will have specific campaign messages or fundraisers.
• Proper posting and outreach via social media is critical to the sanctuary's ability to fundraise and build our brand.
• You will monitor performance and adjust content to maximize engagement and fundraising results.

• Experience with Tik Tok and creating engaging short-form video content.
• Ability to collaborate with leadership and capture high-quality video and behind-the-scenes content.
• Strong writing, storytelling, and visual design skills for social media and promotional materials.
