Overview

Go for Yours Foundation is a national youth leadership organization dedicated to empowering young leaders ages 18–24 through mentorship, leadership development, and immersive career exposure. Through our flagship Dream Experience and year-round programming, we work to close the opportunity gap and equip the next generation of changemakers with the tools, confidence, and resources to thrive.

This is a hands-on opportunity to:

• Help secure critical funding and in-kind support that directly powers youth programming
• Work with a passionate, purpose-driven team committed to real community impact
• Develop or strengthen sponsorship, partnership, and relationship-building skills
• Gain exposure to nonprofit fundraising and corporate partnerships
• Make a tangible difference in the lives of young leaders who are often overlooked but full of potential

As a Volunteer Sponsor ships & Community Partnerships Team Member, you will support local and regional outreach efforts to help build relationships with businesses, entrepreneurs, and community partners aligned with our mission.

You’ll work closely with Go for Yours leadership and be part of a small, collaborative volunteer sponsor ships team focused on opening doors and creating partnership opportunities.

Together, you will:

• Support outreach to local and regional businesses aligned with our mission
• Use provided scripts and tools to initiate conversations and introductions
• Leverage personal and professional networks to help identify potential partners
• Track outreach activity, responses, and follow-ups in a shared system
• Surface warm leads and interested partners to Go for Yours leadership for next steps

This role focuses on relationship-building and outreach, not sales or negotiations. It’s ideal for someone who enjoys connecting people, opening doors, and contributing to meaningful work behind the scenes.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Interest in nonprofit fundraising, sponsor ships, or community partnerships
• Organized, reliable, and comfortable following outreach processes
• Motivated self-starter with a collaborative mindset
• Prior fundraising or sponsorship experience is a plus, but not required
