The Dig Deep Right to Water Project is a WASH (water, sanitation, and hygiene) organization committed to closing the water access gap for the 2 million+ people in the U.S. who still don t have a tap or a toilet at home.
About the Organization
Dig Deep is a human rights nonprofit working to ensure every person in the United States has access to clean running water and sanitation organization has served thousands of families across the country through our award-winning and community-led field projects: the Navajo Water Project (Arizona, New Mexico, and Utah), the Appalachia Water Project (West Virginia and Kentucky), and the Colonias Water Project (Texas).
Dig Deep is also a leading force in U.S. water access research, workforce development, and policy advocacy, underscoring our commitment to addressing the sector s lack of comprehensive data by expanding our evidence base, sharing our learnings, and collaborating with other WASH innovators. Our national reports include "Closing the Water Access Gap in the United States: A National Action Plan" and "Draining:
The Economic Impact of America s Hidden Water Crisis," which highlight the reality that over 2 million people in the U.S. live without a toilet or tap at home and the associated economic costs. For more information on our mission and model, please visit digdeep.org.
