Responsibilities

  • Support the preparation of pitches, proposals and presentations, including formatting, proofreading and coordinating experience and deal information.
  • Conduct research, maintain tracking and prepare reports to support marketing and business development initiatives, including experience collection, pitch activity and follow-up, events and conferences, awards, sponsor ships and news.
  • Perform day-to-day CRM data maintenance, including researching and updating contact and company records, managing lists and supporting data accuracy and consistency.
  • Compile key metrics and assist with reporting to support Marketing & BD efforts.
  • Provide execution and coordination support for event materials, invitations, attendee tracking and post-event follow-up related to client events and entertainment, sponsor ships and other firm-hosted programs and receptions.
  • Support league table, directory and award submissions, including information gathering, drafting support, formatting and internal coordination.
  • Prepare background materials on clients, prospects and market activity to support business development efforts.
  • Conduct competitive and market research in support of marketing and business development initiatives.
  • Execute approved marketing updates, including website content, attorney bios, practice descriptions, internal communications and social media posts.
  • Provide graphic and creative support for sponsor ships, advertisements, events, presentations and other marketing materials.
  • Provide media relations and PR coordination support in collaboration with the Marketing team.
  • Support documentation and refinement of internal Marketing & BD processes and templates.
  • Provide administrative and execution support across marketing and business development initiatives and broader firm initiatives, as needed.
Candidate Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required; major in business administration, marketing, communications or another relevant field preferred.
  • 2–3 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Experience supporting marketing or business development initiatives within a law firm or other professional services organization preferred.
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills with a very high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and follow through consistently.
  • Sound judgment and the ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build effective, collaborative working relationships across departments and with colleagues at all levels.
  • Ability to represent the department and firm to external contacts and vendors in a professional, positive and reliable manner.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with graphic design best practices and experience using Canva or similar design tools.
  • Creative mindset with a strong eye for detail and presentation quality.
  • Strong work ethic with a practical, solution-oriented approach and a willingness to help move work forward.
  • Ability to remain composed and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Availability to work occasional overtime and travel based on business needs.

Location: Los Angeles or New York. WeWork on a hybrid office schedule requiring three full office days per week (Tuesday-Thursday), subject to change.

Salary Range: $65,000 – $80,000

Position Type: Non-Exempt
