Position Overview
Reporting to the Associate Director of Investor Communications & Marketing, the Associate will serve as a key member of the Investor Communications & Marketing (ICM) team. This group leads the development of marketing collateral and communications, including thought leading content, firm publications, presentations, and RFPs, supporting both internal initiatives and engagement with clients, prospects, consultants, and the media. As part of the Relationship Management department, ICM plays a vital role in delivering collateral that strengthens relationships with prospective institutional investors and consultants, while supporting the ongoing needs of existing institutional clients.
In this role, the Associate will collaborate closely with colleagues across the broader Relationship Management team and partner with cross-functional groups throughout the firm to advance strategic communication and marketing efforts.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Develop a strong understanding of LACM’s investment philosophy, processes, vehicles, and competitive positioning.
- Learn and become comfortable using the firm’s systems, including CRM, performance and data platforms, presentation tools, RFP software, and marketing design and delivery systems.
- Support the execution of strategic marketing initiatives by assisting Associate Director of ICM on projects designed to enhance client engagement and the firm’s brand presence.
- Contribute to the development and production of marketing materials, such as research publications, insights on the Firm’s strategies, short-form market commentary, byline articles, and other content pieces.
- Help deliver high-quality collateral across written, visual, video, and interactive formats, leveraging AI tools to expand the Firm’s content library.
- Assist in maintaining the Firm’s digital presence, including drafting or updating content for Linked In and other online channels.
- Support the coordination of the Firm’s public relations efforts and its external PR partnership.
- Help prepare quarterly updates and publications, maintain firm systems, and support responses to consultant database requirements.
- Provide general sales support to Relationship Managers, including preparing presentation decks, gathering data, and addressing basic client and prospect inquiries.
- Partner with Compliance to ensure materials meet regulatory guidelines, internal procedures, and record-keeping standards.
- Contribute to broader ICM initiatives, projects, and workflow improvements, as needed.
Skills and Knowledge Required
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, marketing, communications, or a related field.
