Job Description

The Social Media Associate will assist the Social Lead with content planning, creator partnerships, and day-to-day social execution across platforms, helping ensure all content aligns with Pique’s premium aesthetic, wellness-driven messaging, and community engagement goals. This role will support creator coordination, content execution, and cross-functional collaboration to help produce compelling, on-brand content across Tik Tok and Instagram (in-feed, Stories, and Broadcast Channel).

The Social Media Associate plays a key supporting role in bringing the founder’s vision to life through consistent, platform-first social storytelling.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Sr. Social Media Manager in executing Pique’s social media strategy across platforms, ensuring alignment with brand voice and campaign priorities.
  • Create and edit short-form videos, Instagram Stories, and carousels as needed to support day-to-day social needs and real-time moments.
  • Strong content production skills with experience shooting and creating UGC-style content (including product + prop styling)
  • Support the Sr. Social Media Manager on set at photoshoots by capturing social-first content and B-Roll independently (primarily on iPhone)
  • Support cross-channel publishing by scheduling and posting across Instagram (in-feed, Stories, Broadcast Channel) and Tik Tok—writing on-brand copy and ensuring every post is ready to go live with the correct assets, links, captions, approvals, audio, and timing to hit key deadlines.
  • Manage channel execution and the content calendar by ideating, creating, and publishing original and trend-informed short-form videos ensuring content and copy align with Pique’s brand marketing vision and social strategy.
  • Monitor pop culture moments and daily social trends for reactive content opportunities, surfacing ideas that insert Pique into relevant conversations.
Creator Partnerships
  • Support the Creator Partnerships program by helping identify on-brand creators (UGC producers and influencers) and coordinating briefs/creative direction, timelines, contracts, approvals, and deliverables under the Sr. Social Media Manager’s guidance.
  • Collaborate with the Sr. Social Media Manager to create creator briefs by pulling creative inspiration and supporting content direction and guidelines, ensuring everything stays on brand and ladders up to the Pique universe.
Social Media Management, Growth, and Community
  • Partner with the Sr. Social Media Manager and Community Manager with community management across platforms by engaging with our audience through thoughtful, on-brand responses that foster two-way dialogue and strengthen community (including identifying opportunities to engage loyal audiences via Instagram Broadcast Channels).
  • Pull, compile, and maintain weekly, monthly, and quarterly social KPI reporting, sharing performance updates and flagging trends/opportunities to support the Social Lead’s analysis and content strategy decisions
  • Champion the consumer voice by regularly sharing social sentiment and audience insights with internal teams, identifying opportunities to strengthen positioning and drive channel growth.
Qualifications / Experience
  • 3-4 years of experience in social media management, content strategy, or influencer marketing, preferably in DTC, beauty, wellness, or lifestyle brands.
  • Proven track record of creating compelling social content that drives engagement
  • Experience shooting and creating UGC-style content, with an eye for product + prop styling.
  • Comfortable on set capturing BTS and/or shooting social-first video independently (primarily iPhone).
  • Proficient editing short-form content in Cap Cut and/or Final Cut Pro / Adobe (Premiere/After Effects or similar).
