Job Description
We are seeking a strategic and data-driven Digital Media Planner to join our dynamic marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing digital media strategies across various online platforms to drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversions. The ideal candidate is passionate about digital trends, analytics, and audience targeting, with a proven track record in media planning and campaign management.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with account managers, creative teams, and clients to understand campaign objectives, target audiences, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Research and analyze market trends, audience behaviors, and competitive landscapes to inform media strategies.
- Develop comprehensive digital media plans, including channel selection (e.g., social media, search engines, display networks, programmatic advertising), budget allocation, and timeline recommendations.
- Negotiate and purchase media inventory from publishers, ad networks, and platforms to ensure cost-effective placements.
- Monitor campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, and other tracking software; provide real-time optimizations to improve ROI.
- Generate detailed reports on campaign metrics, insights, and recommendations for future improvements.
- Stay updated on emerging digital media technologies, algorithms, and best practices to enhance campaign effectiveness.
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure compliance with advertising regulations and platform policies.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in digital media planning, preferably in an agency or in-house marketing environment.
- Proficiency in digital advertising platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, Linked In Ads, and programmatic tools like The Trade Desk or Double Click.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data interpretation and visualization (e.g., using Excel, Tableau, or similar).
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities to articulate strategies to stakeholders.
- Creative problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt to fast-paced changes in the digital landscape.
- Knowledge of SEO, SEM, content marketing, and A/B testing methodologies is a plus.
- Certification in Google Analytics, Google Ads, or Facebook Blueprint is highly desirable.
