Job Summary:
Crooked is hiring for anAd Ops Coordinator reporting to the Sr. Ad Ops Campaign Manager to support the Sales, Marketing, and Production team's advertising and promotional efforts. This role will be responsible for facilitating advertising, cross-promotional and house ad inventory across our podcast programming.
This role is based out of our Los Angeles office, and follows a hybrid schedule based on the job’s needs. We are ideally looking for Los Angeles-based candidates or candidates willing to relocate within 3 months of their start date.
How You’ll Spend Your Time:
- Facilitate advertising inventory across our podcast and digital video network and oversee cross promotional, and house ad initiatives
- Request and manage copy across all of our podcast and digital video programming
- Facilitate new sponsor vetting, product sample distribution and client onboarding calls with show producers, talent, advertisers and internal sales team
- Assist with daily audits of published episodes for correct ad marker loads + accuracy of host read ads scheduled in each episode.
- Coordinate with Programming Department and Sales to sync department calendars, including bonus episodes, dark dates, episode date shifts and talent PTO
- Coordinate with marketing team to coordinate copy, impressions, timing and upload of internal promos
- Monitor sponsor campaign performance via attribution platforms such as Podscribe, Spotify Ad Analytics, Artsai, Claritas, Magellan and others
- Facilitate delivery of assets and video ad files to video producers for insertion in You Tube episodes
What You’ll Bring To The Table:
- 1-2 years Media Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- High-level attention to detail/accuracy is a must
- Must possess strong organizational, and problem solving skills
- Able to perform independently and proactively while working in a team environment
- Manage workload with various departments (sales, production, marketing, client partners, etc.) and be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Have a passion for podcasting and audio
- Works well under pressure
- Knowledge of media metrics, particularly of advertising inventories
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication and time management skills with copywriting experience as a plus
- Proficient use of Google Drive, Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Experience using Ad Trafficking software
- Any experience with the following is a plus - Podcast Publishing and Reporting Platforms (Audioboom, Megaphone, Art
19, Omny, Blubrry, AdSense, Chartable, Podsights, Barometric, Claritas, Artsai, Simplecast) and Traditional Ad Ops Platforms (DFP, Moat, IAS, Google Campaign Manager)
- Any experience with the following is a plus - Podcast Publishing and Reporting Platforms (Audioboom, Megaphone, Art
- Experience in Pro Tools and Adobe Creative Suite would be a plus
- Ability to work non-traditional hours and overtime as needed, including some possible weekends
- An assertive, positive personality; confidence in expressing potential solutions to problems
Pay & Perks:
This position is covered under the Writers Guild of America East Collective Bargaining Agreement and the starting salary for this role is $80,000.
