Avibank Manufacturing, Inc., a PCC Company, located in North Hollywood, CA, is part of the Engineered Products Group.

Building upon level one, level two machinists operate 2-5 axis CNC/Automated machine cells as well as standalone machines. This requires basic machine setup (preparing and setting up fixtures and cutting tools), loading and adjusting CNC programs and offsets. Level two machinist competencies include the ability to use advanced quality inspection tools (height and air gauges, bench inspection) and basic print reading with common CNC G and M codes.

Typically 2-4 years of experience.

• Operate CNC Mills, Lathes, or Swiss/Star Machines
• Operate 2-3 CNC Mills, Lathes, or Swiss/Star Machines
• Inspect produced components per blueprint using standard inspection techniques
• Load/unload parts in provided work holding method per setup
• Replace broken cutting tools/inserts as needed
• Deburr parts as required
• Complete work order documentation in accordance with AS9100 quality standards
• Light maintenance of equipment
• Keep work center clean and free of debris

Mathematical

Skills:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

Computer

Skills:

Knowledge of basic computer use; familiarity with CNC machining methods.

Physical Requirements:

• Occasional lifting up to 20 pounds
• Frequently work near heavy machinery or equipment
• Demands of a manufacturing environment

2+ years minimum experience in aerospace/automotive machining or related industry. Familiarity with Fanuc, Haas, CELOS controllers. Preferred certifications in CNC operations.

High school diploma/GED equivalent required.

Pay range: $23.50 to $35.25 USD hourly, based on factors. Eligible to participate in the company's quarterly cash bonus plan. 80 hours paid time off per year and 10 paid holidays. Medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance. 401(k) plan eligible.
