Position Title: Machinist – Level 4 (CNC & Conventional Mills/Lathes) - Full Time – On-Site, North Hollywood, CA

Position Summary: Building upon level three, level four machinists demonstrate the ability to set up, run and troubleshoot all specified CNC and conventional machines and machining processes, design and manufacture complex tooling, and provide leadership and mentoring.
Experience required: at least 6 years.

• Operate and set up CNC or conventional mills and lathes
• Inspect produced components per blueprint using standard inspection techniques
• Load/unload parts in provided work holding method per setup
• Replace broken cutting tools/inserts as needed
• Complete work order documentation in accordance with AS9100 quality standards
• Load and check CNC programs
• Establish work and tooling offset information
• Train other employees on operation and setup of CNC machines
• Oversee operations of multiple CNC or conventional mills and lathes
• Light maintenance duty of equipment

Mathematical

Skills:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

Computer

Skills:

Knowledge of Windows Office suite and proficiency in CNC machining methods.

Minimum of 6 years of experience in aerospace/automotive machining or related industry. Strong knowledge of Fanuc, Haas, CELOS controllers. Preferred certifications in CNC operations. Background knowledge of AS9100 quality systems.

High school diploma or GED equivalent required.

Pay range informational: $34.00 to $40.00 USD hourly, based on factors. Eligible to participate in the company's quarterly cash bonus plan. Benefits include 80 hours paid time off per year, 10 paid holidays, medical/dental/vision and basic life insurance, and enrollment in the 401(k) plan.
