Location Profile

Located in North Hollywood, CA, Avibank Manufacturing, Inc., a PCC Company, part of the Engineered Products Group, designs and produces sophisticated fasteners and multi-component fastening systems and devices to solve difficult engineering and critical performance problems.

Position Summary

Building upon level three, without assistance level four machinists demonstrate the ability to set up, run and troubleshoot all specific CNC and conventional machines and machining processes. They are also able to design and manufacture complex tooling. Leadership and mentoring skills are also expected of level four machinists. At least 6 years of experience.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate and set up CNC or conventional mills and lathes
• Inspect produced components per blueprint using standard inspection techniques
• Load/unload parts in provided work holding method per setup
• Replace broken cutting tools/inserts as needed
• Complete work order documentation in accordance with AS9100 quality standards
• Load and check CNC program
• Establish work and tooling offset information
• Train other employees on operation and set up of CNC machines
• Oversee operations of multiple CNC or conventional mills and lathes
• Light maintenance duty of equipment
