We are seeking an electromechanical technician skilled in using hand and power tools to assemble both robust metal structures and delicate electronics assemblies. The ideal candidate has experience with a wide range of tools and is motivated to enhance their skills to produce high-quality outputs. You should maintain a tidy and well-organized workspace, keep detailed records of your work, and recognize that doing a job well the first time is more efficient in the long run.

• Assemble robust metal structures such as tube frames and sheet metal.
• Assemble delicate electronics assemblies, including PCBs and small-gauge wiring.
• Perform soldering for assembly and repair of wires, through-hole, and surface mount components.
• Conduct mechanical assembly using hand and power tools, including drilling, tapping, deburring, filing, and sanding.
• Perform cable assembly, including stripping, crimping, testing, and strain relieving.
• Apply good ESD practices while assembling sensitive electronic components into a system.
• Engage in purchasing, inventory planning, and management.
• Troubleshoot hardware issues and test equipment functionality.

• Ability to perform cable assembly, including stripping, crimping, testing, and strain relieving.

• Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware and test equipment.

This is a Permanent position based out of Los Angeles, CA.

The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
