Assistant Brewer / Cellar Technician

818 Brewing – Canoga Park, CA

Full-Time | $20–$22 per hour

About 8one8 Brewing

8one8 Brewing is a family‑owned and operated brewery located in Canoga Park, California. Founded in 2014, we began as home brewers and converted our passion into a business on a 3

BBL brewhouse. With limited self‑distribution and the addition of our tasting room in 2018, we’ve grown into a 10

BBL brewhouse, commissioned our own canning line, implemented a water treatment and lagering program, and expanded our production capacity to 200+ BBLs of tank space.

Why Someone Would Want This Job
  • Small, tight‑knit production team
  • Real responsibility and hands‑on brewing (not just keg washing forever)
  • Exposure to the full production cycle (cellar → packaging → QA → brewing)
  • Stable, long‑term brewery (not a startup chaos shop)
  • Opportunity to grow skills and responsibility, not just clock shifts

This is a working production role at a brewery that values consistency, quality, and people who want to build something long‑term.

Final Note to Applicants

This is not a “learn to brew” position. It’s a professional working production role. If your experience stops at loving beer and homebrewing, we’re probably not the right fit right now. At least one year of professional brewery or cellar experience is required.
