Production Supervisor

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Production Manager / Production Supervisor to work closely with senior operations leadership. This role includes assisting in the coordination, supervision, and oversight of die casting production activities to ensure safety, efficiency, and quality standards are consistently met.

• Lead, train, and support production operators in the die casting department.
• Direct setup and adjustment of die casting machines and robotic systems.
• Oversee mold changes, mold adjustments, and ensure proper mold filling.
• Establish optimal process parameters for new products.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues such as mold flash, burrs, and non-fill.
• Reduce downtime and optimize cycle times during mold changes and setups.
• Oversee metal handling processes.
• Conduct in-process mold verifications and identify potential defects.
• Collaborate with tooling teams on minor die repairs, polishing, grinding, and maintenance.
• Ensure production meets safety and quality requirements.

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in aluminum die casting or a related field.
• Knowledge of robot programming and setup preferred.
• Experience with mold and die maintenance, polishing, and grinder tools.
• Strong understanding of aluminum melting, flux treatment, and crucible handling.
• Leadership experience supervising and training operators.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Ability to troubleshoot and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
