General Plant Laborer

Position Responsibilities:

• Perform a range of physical/manual labor duties including equipment maintenance, pallet repair, loading and unloading, and other miscellaneous labor work as needed.
• Perform general clean up around Plant and maintain appearance of equipment.
• Complete visual and daily safety inspection of equipment to ensure safe operations.
• Other duties as assigned by Plant Management.

Education:

High School diploma or equivalent.

Other Related Experiences Required or Preferred:

• Minimum of one year of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read, write and speak English. Must have the ability to understand and abide by Company policies and safety rules.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is highly preferred but not required.
• Experience working in the building materials industry is preferred.
• Must have the physical stamina to perform continuously with full body motion for climbing, reaching, pushing and lifting, etc.
