We have an opportunity for an Electrical Assembly Technician I primarily focused on strain gage placement and wiring of transducer switches. The selected individual will have experience in an electrical/electronics manufacturing environment with demonstrated skills in working with micro‑miniature products. Preference will be given to candidates from the aerospace/medical device manufacturing industry.
Position Duties- Work under a stereo microscope to orient and assemble small and delicate electrical components that are sensitive to environment, process changes, and F.O.D.
- Position and place micro‑miniature parts using specialty adhesives and solder; fine‑wire with tweezers and small hand tools/fixtures.
- Perform soldering/welding following schematic, blueprint, and standard work instructions.
- Ensure product quality and conformance to design requirements.
- Maintain quality and functionality to deliver product consistency—requires high dexterity, attention to detail, and discipline for repetitive tasks.
- Work within time standards to meet customer demand.
- Commit to process improvement and take pride in workmanship quality.
- Cross‑train and learn through knowledge sharing.
- Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor/manager from time to time.
Education & Experience:
- Experience soldering components to J-STD-001 and inspection per IPC-A-610 desirable.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Quality‑conscious with good dexterity.
- Ability to read, interpret, and work from drawings, controlled documentation, and processes (layout drawings, mechanical drawings, assembly procedures, schematics, engineering drawings, parts lists).
- 5+ years of uninterrupted electrical assembly experience using a microscope.
- Ability to work under a microscope for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of electronics.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Fine motor skills and hand‑eye coordination for precision work.
- Handle delicate, sensitive, and miniature parts with care.
- Occasionally lift up to 20 lbs.
- Regularly sit for up to eight hours and stand.
- Require close vision.
- Regular predictable attendance.

$18.00–$22.00 per hour.
