Purpose

Perform standardized Materials Lab tasks including metallographic preparation (cutting, grinding, polishing), and some powder characterization tasks. Operate optical microscope. Assist technical staff with development efforts. Monday – Friday 1st shift, 8 am – 4:30 pm.

Basic Qualifications
  • Ability to lawfully access information and technology that is subject to US export controls
  • High School Diploma, current college student (science or engineering)
  • Experience in a laboratory environment
  • Highly proficient in verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to interpret technical documents and work instructions
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to carry up to 30 lbs
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with metallography, metallographic preparation, microscopy is a plus

  • Toxic or caustic chemicals – 5‑10%

Pay Range: $21 USD – $28 USD
