Food Production, Packaging Engineer
We’re hiring a dependable and detail-oriented Meat Packer to join our warehouse production team! In this full‑time role, you’ll be responsible for preparing and packaging meat products with a focus on quality, safety, and teamwork. Work in a refrigerated environment alongside a supportive crew!
Responsibilities- ✅ Receive, inspect, and verify incoming meat products
- 🥩 Sort, organize, and package meat based on cut, type, and storage needs
- 📋 Follow standardized procedures for portioning and labeling
- 🧼 Keep your work area clean and sanitized
- 🧾 Accurately record packaged quantities and report issues
- 🧤 Use PPE and follow all safety/sanitation protocols
- 🆘 Report malfunctions or safety hazards promptly
- 📚 Attend training sessions for food safety and packaging skills
- 🤝 Collaborate with team members
- 🧰 Other duties as assigned
- 🎓 High school diploma preferred (not required)
- 🏭 Previous warehouse or food packaging experience is a plus
- 🍽️ Basic knowledge of food safety is a plus
- 🔍 Strong attention to detail
- ⚡ Fast‑paced, team‑friendly work ethic
- ✋ Good hand‑eye coordination and dexterity
- 💪 Ability to lift, stand, and move consistently
- 📢 Effective communication and willingness to learn
- 🔄 Lift up to 75 lbs frequently and 100 lbs occasionally
- 🚶 Stand, walk, bend, squat frequently
- 🧼 Exposure to dust, blood, and meat processing chemicals
- 📢 Work in a noisy, refrigerated warehouse
