Director of Operations

Director of Operations – Century Group

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Director of Operations to join their team. Expected starting base salary of $150,000 to $170,000 per year.

• Direct all plant activities, including production, processing, packaging, maintenance, engineering, and shipping operations.
• Oversee plant workflow to ensure efficient procedures, cost control, and financial performance.
• Develop and implement production strategies that drive efficiency improvements and enhance product margins.
• Maintain and upgrade plant equipment to support proper daily functionality and prepare for future growth.
• Manage daily activities of managers and supervisors while ensuring adherence to operational protocols.

• Strong leadership abilities with 10+ years of experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• Apply effective disciplinary practices and maintain compliance with HACCP, GMPs, SOPs, and quality systems.
• Collaborate effectively with managers and staff to maintain high communication standards across departments.
• Ensure proper staffing, personnel allocation, and cost‑effective fulfillment of production schedules.
• Implement and oversee plant safety programs, food security measures, and third‑party audit readiness.

• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 10+ years of industry experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role.
• Exhibit strong skills in budgeting, financial analysis, and operational performance management.
• Show experience establishing SOPs, recall procedures, and process improvements within manufacturing environments.
• Display proven ability to develop teams, conduct performance evaluations, and manage promotions or terminations.
