Genoma Labs is seeking Shop Robot Technicians to join our innovative team. In this role, you will conduct research and development activities, collaborating closely with our design team to explore and define prototyping and manufacturing capabilities. Your technical expertise will be crucial in enhancing our robotic systems and processes, ensuring effective translation of innovative concepts into practical manufacturing solutions.
What You Will Do- Research, develop, and assist in deploying robotic systems tailored for the manufacturing environment, ensuring optimal operation and integration with existing processes.
- Utilize robotics to enhance production efficiency, focusing on the precise execution of tasks such as component assembly and material handling.
- Operate and maintain robotic equipment, performing routine checks and maintenance to ensure machinery is in top working condition.
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to troubleshoot and resolve issues with robotic systems, ensuring minimal downtime and adherence to production schedules.
- Stay informed on the latest developments in manufacturing robotics, including advancements in robot safety, to continually refine and enhance operational protocols.
- Assist in the design and prototype stages by providing technical insights into the manufacturability of new products, ensuring designs are optimized for robotic production.
- Work under pressure and tight deadlines to meet production targets, maintaining a high level of precision and efficiency.
- Participate in training sessions to keep up-to-date with the latest robotic technologies and techniques, improving skills and knowledge continuously.
- You bring over three years of direct experience working with robotics in a manufacturing environment, including construction, assembly, and maintenance of complex systems.
- You have developed a robust mechanical aptitude through hands-on practice, and you are skilled in using both hand and power tools. Your expertise also covers essential systems such as HVAC, plumbing, and electrical, which are critical for the integrated maintenance and troubleshooting of robotic systems.
- Your ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics is refined, enabling precise construction and maintenance of robotic machinery and components.
- Attention to detail:
You excel in managing multiple projects with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring each task is completed to the highest standard of quality and precision. - Your excellent communication skills foster strong collaborative relationships, allowing you to work effectively with teams and convey complex information clearly.
