Electrical Project Manager – Large Commercial Projects

A leading electrical contractor in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead large-scale commercial and institutional projects with electrical contract values exceeding $20M
. This role oversees project performance from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring financial success, schedule adherence, and high-quality execution.

• Manage large electrical construction projects from award through commissioning and turnover.
• Develop and maintain project budgets, cost forecasts, and cash flow projections.
• Oversee procurement of major equipment and long-lead materials.
• Coordinate with field leadership, general contractors, and design teams.
• Track job costs, commitments, and change orders.
• Lead pricing and negotiation of change orders and contract modifications.
• Prepare monthly cost reports and billing projections.
• Ensure profitability and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.

• Manage scopes including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems (as applicable).
• Coordinate with MEP trades and resolve field conflicts.
• Participate in preconstruction planning and value engineering efforts.

• Serve as primary liaison with general contractors, owners, and consultants.
• Lead project meetings and internal coordination reviews.
• Mentor assistant project managers and project engineers.

• 7+ years of experience managing projects for a commercial electrical contractor
  .
• Experience leading projects with electrical scopes valued at $20M+.
• Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems and construction methods.
• Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
