Description
You will be a strategic advisor and consultant to PE partners and Business leaders to guide and meet complex business and talent needs. You will advise on the implementation, communication, and administration of our global programs and help develop / evolve projects with support from a team of PE Partners, HRIT, global compensation team members, and PE centers of excellence (recruiting, learning, analytics).
You will report to the Director, Global Compensation Partners, and also work as a project team member on compensation programs.
Responsibilities
- Be the primary consultant for the assigned business unit(s), with teams located globally
- Establish and nurture consultative and collaborative relationships with PE partners, business leaders, and team members to educate managers and employees on compensation programs
- Provide creative compensation recommendations and solutions aligned with EA's business strategy, compensation philosophy, and culture
- Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to develop competitive offers that ensure fair and strategic application of compensation policies
- Drive and support the planning and delivery of the annual Merit, Bonus, and Equity cycle (Focal)
- Lead or contribute to other projects related to compensation or overall global total reward programs
Qualifications
- BA/BS in a related field
- 7+ years of compensation experience in a client-facing role
- Managed close working relationships with multiple partners, including executives and peers
- Extensive experience designing and implementing compensation programs (including expertise in salary structure, bonus and long-term programs)
- Experience presenting compensation topics to PE Partners and Managers
- Advanced Excel skills (can perform complex functions) and data modeling/analytics capability

Compensation And Benefits
The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).
PAY RANGES
- British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) *$130,800 - $183,000 CAD
- California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. San Francisco) *$150,100 - $228,000 USD
In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.

For British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees.
Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
