Job Description & How to Apply Below

Bond Companies is a vertically integrated real estate investment, development, and operating platform with a focus on high-quality multifamily and mixed-use assets. Through disciplined asset management and in-house property operations via Inspire Living, Bond seeks to deliver strong risk-adjusted returns while building durable, best-in-class real estate platforms.

Position Overview

Bond Companies is seeking a seasoned Asset Manager to lead the strategic, operational, and financial performance of a portfolio of highly amenitized Class-A multifamily assets. This role operates at the intersection of ownership, operations, and capital strategy, with direct accountability for asset-level execution, portfolio performance, and long-term value creation.

The Asset Manager will serve as the primary ownership representative to property-level teams and will play a hands-on role in supporting operations in a lean, vertically integrated environment. In the absence of a regional management layer, this position requires a practical, solutions-oriented operator who can wear multiple hats, help resolve day-to-day operational challenges, and ensure that business plans are executed consistently and effectively.

In parallel, the role provides senior oversight of Inspire Living, Bond’s in-house property management platform, supporting operational excellence and contributing to the measured expansion of third-party management services.

This is a highly visible position with meaningful influence over portfolio performance, operating strategy, and the continued evolution of Bond’s platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the strategic, operational, and financial performance of a portfolio of highly amenitized Class-A multifamily assets
  • Own asset-level financial performance, including annual budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and NOI optimization
  • Act as the primary ownership representative to on-site property management teams, providing direct support and decision-making in the absence of a regional management structure
  • Partner closely with property teams to identify and solve operational challenges, remove bottlenecks, and improve execution across leasing, maintenance, resident experience, and compliance
  • Operate as a hands-on asset manager, capable of wearing multiple hats and stepping into operational issues as needed to protect performance and momentum
  • Establish and enforce operational, financial, and reporting standards across the portfolio
  • Ensure effective and consistent use of Yardi for budgeting, reporting, and performance tracking
  • Analyze market conditions, competitive positioning, leasing trends, and operating benchmarks to inform asset-level strategy and decision-making
  • Lead the planning and execution of capital improvement programs in coordination with property teams and ownership
  • Provide senior oversight of Inspire Living, supporting operational discipline and contributing to the rollout and growth of third-party property management services
  • Uphold brand, service, and resident experience standards across all assets
  • Report directly to ownership on asset performance, operational risks, and strategic opportunities
Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience in multifamily asset management or senior-level property management, with Class-A experience strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ownership of property or portfolio-level P&L, budgeting, and financial performance
  • Strong working knowledge of Yardi required, including budgeting and reporting modules
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in a lean, vertically integrated platform and support on-site teams without a regional management layer
  • Strong problem-solving skills, sound operational judgment, and the ability to move quickly from issue identification to resolution
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred
Compensation
  • Base Salary: $85,000 – $125,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications
