Sales Director

Director of Sales – Medical Device Machining (Los Angeles, CA)

I’m partnering with a growing medical device contract manufacturer with deep expertise in precision machining to recruit a Director of Sales for their Los Angeles operation. This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for driving revenue growth, expanding OEM relationships, and positioning the business as a preferred manufacturing partner in regulated markets.

This role carries full accountability for sales strategy, pipeline development, and commercial performance
, working closely with engineering, quality, operations, and program management to win and scale complex medical device programs.

• Lead and execute the sales strategy for precision machining services supporting medical device OEMs
• Develop and grow strategic customer relationships, expanding share of wallet and new program wins
• Own annual revenue targets, pipeline management, and accurate forecasting
• Partner cross-functionally to align technical capabilities with customer design, regulatory, and production needs
• Lead, coach, and develop sales and business development team members
• Represent the organisation at customer sites, audits, and industry events
• Ensure all commercial activities align with FDA, ISO 13485, and quality system requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline
• 8+ years of sales leadership experience within medical device machining or contract manufacturing
• Strong technical acumen, blueprint literacy, and solution-selling capability
• Proven success closing complex, long-cycle programs with OEM customers
• Los Angeles–based with regular customer travel
