Position Overview

Position is for a full‑time Resident Manager I with housing to work at Third Thyme, a 104‑unit senior/disabled special‑needs housing community in Los Angeles, CA. Candidate will live onsite at a future date as this is new construction. This is a tax credit property. This is a PSH property. Candidates will have 3+ years of affordable housing property management experience. Qualified Yardi Voyager experience is a plus.

Valid driver’s license, clean DMV record and reliable transportation are required. Salary range: $22.62 – $40.62 per hour; hiring range for new employees is generally $22.62 – $31.62 per hour, DOE. Please note an offer will take into consideration the experience of the final candidate and the current salary level of individuals working at EAH in a similar role.

Resident Manager I Overview

The Resident Manager I is directly responsible for managing the site to ensure effective fiscal, physical and social soundness. The Resident Manager oversees the day‑to‑day operations of the property including administrative, facilities and marketing.

Responsibilities
  • Collect rent, make bank deposits.
  • Prepare and submit rent roll, verify income complies with HUD, TCAC or other regulations.
  • Maintain waiting list, prepare and process leases.
  • Supervise on‑site staff, process evictions, conduct annual inspections and coordinate repairs for HUD properties, submit vouchers.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of affordable housing property management experience.
  • Current CA real‑estate license.
  • Knowledge of HUD, TCAC, DFEH and ADA guidelines.
  • Ability to develop and implement budgets and variance reports.
  • Skills in resident problem solving and staff management.
