Sales Manager - Insurance Industry (Los Angeles) Overview
FIS is seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager to lead our main sales office in Los Angeles. In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for managing, training, and developing a team of sales professionals. Your primary goal will be to drive sales growth, develop both new and existing agents, and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction. You will implement effective sales strategies while mentoring and coaching your team to achieve revenue targets.
A strong background in the insurance industry is a plus!
- Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing sales team.
- Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations to maximize individual and team success.
- Foster a positive, motivating work environment that enhances employee engagement and retention.
- Sales Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with senior management to set sales objectives and contribute to company goals.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Ensure adherence to industry regulations and company policies.
- Conduct regular audits to assess compliance with underwriting guidelines and customer service standards.
- Implement corrective actions to resolve any compliance issues.
- Customer Service Excellence:
- Promote a customer-centric culture that emphasizes delivering exceptional service.
- Address customer concerns and escalations, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.
- Monitor customer satisfaction metrics and implement initiatives for improvement.
- Performance Metrics:
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess sales team effectiveness.
- Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and market analysis.
- Training and Development:
- Conduct ongoing training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales team.
- Implement senior management training programs for new hires.
- Stay informed about industry trends, product knowledge, and regulatory changes to ensure team competitiveness.
- Collaboration with Corporate Office:
- Maintain open communication with corporate staff to relay feedback and updates from the field.
- Collaborate with district managers and executives to share best practices and contribute to company-wide initiatives.
- Proven experience in sales leadership, particularly in the insurance industry.
- Strong understanding of insurance products, regulations, and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies.
- Proficiency with CRM software and other sales tools.
- Strong skills in training and developing sales representatives.
- MUST Speak Spanish
