Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Controller to join their team. Expected starting base salary of $120,000 to $140,000 per year.

• Lead the organization’s annual audit process and act as the primary liaison with external auditors.
• Supervise and mentor a team of seven accounting professionals to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
• Oversee financial operations and maintain compliance with nonprofit accounting standards.
• Drive process improvements and support system upgrades, including ERP transitions.
• Collaborate with leadership to provide clear financial insights and recommendations.

• Minimum of 3+ years in a supervisory or leadership role within accounting or finance.
• Proven experience managing audits from start to finish.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with internal teams and external partners.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Commitment to organizational goals and mission-driven work.

• Previous experience within nonprofit accounting.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably Net Suite, and willingness to adapt to new technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
• Ability to build collaborative relationships across departments and with external stakeholders.
