Reporting to the Community Property Manager, the Property Manager Assistant I must, first and foremost, be sensitive to the needs and particular lifestyle challenges of the Ballington Plaza community and be able to communicate effectively with people from all walks of life. This position requires the ability to work flexible hours. Must have property management experience.

• Coordinating apartment turnover and ensuring apartments are returned to rent‑ready condition, assisting the Community Property Manager prepare eviction proceedings.
• Overseeing work performed by maintenance staff; coordinating რუს the completion of work orders based on resident requests for maintenance.
• Maintaining work records including organization of work orders.
• Overseeing security staff; maintaining documentation and incident reports, and resolving unexpected problems as they arise.
• Working with the Property Manager to follow‑up on complaints and reported incidents; investigating and documenting all complaints and incidents as directed.
• Coordinating security services to ensure the premises are secure.
• Ensuring premises and parking area comply with safety standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Oversee all work performed by maintenance staff, coordinate completion of work orders.
• Coordinate apartment turnover, ensuring apartments are prepared for residents, and support eviction proceedings as directed by the Community Property Manager.
• Maintain work records and work valoración.
• Coordinate and oversee facility security staff, resolving unexpected problems.
• Follow up all resident complaints and incident reports, inspecting and investigating as directed by the Community Property Manager, maintaining report logs and related documents.
• Other duties as required and may be subject to change.

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in property management.
• Some supervisory experience guiding and overseeing staff.

• Associate's Degree.mn Property Management or related discipline.
• Experience with Housing Authority procedures and documentation a plus.
• Current California driver's license and clean driving record.
