We are seeking an Electrical Construction Project Manager to oversee multiple commercial and industrial projects from planning through completion. This role requires strategic decision-making, project leadership, and coordination across field teams, engineering, and clients to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. Ideal candidates have five or more years of experience managing electrical construction projects and a strong understanding of construction processes and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and execute all aspects of assigned projects.
  • Allocate and manage project resources effectively to meet goals.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between field teams, clients, and internal departments.
  • Prepare and track project budgets, estimates, and change orders.
  • Review contracts, insurance documentation, and compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate with engineering and design teams to obtain approvals and ensure design integrity.
  • Mentor and guide junior project engineers or assistant managers.
  • Lead project meetings and provide status updates to management and clients.
  • Monitor progress, control costs, and maintain project schedules.
  • Manage subcontractors and oversee safety and compliance on-site.
  • Ensure proper project closeout procedures are followed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of five years of electrical construction project management experience.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, construction methods, and sequencing.
  • LEED AP and OSHA 30 certifications preferred but not required.
  • Strong proficiency with MS Office, project estimating software (e.g., Accubid), and design tools (AutoCAD, Revit, Blue Beam).
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing drawings.
  • Strong leadership skills with a focus on collaboration and team development.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Work is split between office and field locations, with frequent time outdoors on uneven terrain.
  • May require standing, sitting, bending, or crouching for extended periods.
  • Exposure to varying weather conditions and industrial work environments with high noise levels.
  • Occasional exposure to hazardous materials.
