Reporting to the COO, the Vice President, Finance provides executive-level oversight of Baby2
Baby’s financial strategy, operations, and forecasting. This leader ensures strong financial management across the organization while supporting a culture of accountability, efficiency, and clarity. The VP partners closely with senior leaders and outsourced accounting partners to strengthen budgeting practices, enhance internal controls, and evolve financial systems to support Baby2
Baby’s growth.
This role plays a central part in the organization’s capital campaign and collaborates directly with the COO on long-term financial planning, policy development, risk management, and investment oversight. The VP serves as a key advisor to leadership, offering strategic insights that help balance ambitious program goals with sustainable financial stewardship.
Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership:
- Collaborate with COO to advance budgeting, finance, and administrative practices with a focus on excellence and continuous improvement.
- Translate organizational goals into actionable financial strategies and support leadership decision-making with clear analysis and data-driven insights.
- Provide operational partnership across distribution, community, and volunteer programs.
- Work closely with department heads to prepare and update annual budgets and rolling forecasts that reflect organizational priorities.
- Partner with the COO on program planning through cost analysis, compliance oversight, and financial modeling.
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including revenue planning, internal reporting, and forecasting.
