Overview

BLISS Car Wash is looking for an energetic, experienced Car Wash Manager to join a growing team. At BLISS we make a difference one car at a time. The Car Wash Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations from site upkeep to guest service, and membership sales, as well as training a positive team. An outgoing and friendly personality with a passion for guest caring is a key component of this role. The Car Wash Manager is responsible for ensuring a positive/safe experience for guests as well as providing a safe/positive working environment for employees.

This position requires adhering to all guidelines, including company policies and all local, state, and federal compliances.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Pay: $20 to $28 per hour
  • Sign-on bonus: $1,500
  • Monthly bonus up to $500 (up to $6,000 per year)

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Manage site team and maintain a clean, efficient site while upholding high standards of personal appearance and uniform policy.
  • Schedule site team by company policy; review/approve employee timecards.
  • Provide excellent guest experience by training the team on internal and external programs and building guest loyalty through the membership program.
  • Train the team on product knowledge, package details, upgrades, and the membership program; follow through on offering the membership to all guests.
  • Provide daily direction to the team and ensure safety and compliance procedures are followed.
  • Anticipate, prevent, identify, and solve problems; train on on-site open/close processes to keep the site fully operational during business hours.
  • Offer strong, positive leadership, provide direction and feedback, and hold team members accountable for performance and results.
  • Provide corrective actions/PIP as needed per policy; maintain a safe work environment and conduct monthly OSHA training.
  • Train on consumable inventory management and ordering; perform and train on after-hours site cleaning (tunnel equipment, floors, walls, pit, vacuum areas, walkways, etc.).
  • Ensure staffing levels meet site needs; interview, recruit, hire, and train all car wash staff.
  • Address and resolve customer concerns efficiently; be flexible to step into any role as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
Job Qualifications
  • Experience: Must have Car Wash Management Experience.
  • Knowledge: Maintain the highest level of guest service; adapt to high-volume, fast-paced environment; initiative; attention to detail; prioritize and meet deadlines; ability to work varied hours (including Fridays & Saturdays); willingness to work at other locations as needed; motivate and improve staff performance through training and setting clear expectations.

    Skills:

    Written/verbal communication, documentation, multitasking, organization, ability to lead and support team goals.
  • Language

    Skills:

    Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing.
Working & Environmental Conditions
  • Works mainly outdoors and sometimes indoors; exposure to equipment fumes, cleaning solvents, dust, fumes, and gases.
  • Temp fluctuations, loud noise and vibration exposure.
Physical Demands
  • Lift up to 50 lbs; stand or walk for extended periods; flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays; operate related equipment.

Reporting Relationships: Reports to the District Manager/Operations Manager.
