OverviewAs an Floater/Fill-in Cleaner at PCFS, you will oversee janitorial cleaning and facilities maintenance operations at your assigned primary site. You will perform a variety of day‑to‑day cleaning tasks, cover shifts for Cleaners and/or Restroom Cleaners, assist with projects or work orders, and help with any additional tasks given. You must be organized, dedicated, and able to handle a variety of duties simultaneously, working with management to create an effective cleaning schedule.
Responsibilities- Inspect all restrooms, re‑stock supplies as needed, disinfect high‑touch areas, and perform any cleaning required to maintain overall cleanliness.
- Receive, acknowledge, and complete work orders assigned during your shift.
- Respond to management requests in a timely manner.
- Adjust schedule based on clients’ needs or management requests.
- Check elevator cabs and disinfect call buttons according to the schedule.
- Proactively address any cleaning issues found in common areas.
- Remove trash from receptacles in restrooms and common areas.
- Clean up spills promptly.
- Maintain clear communication with the Account Supervisor or Account Manager.
- Clean scuff marks from walls, furniture, baseboards, etc.
- Clean and disinfect private restrooms.
- Vacuum carpet in detail, including hard‑to‑reach areas behind doors, corners and edges.
- Maintain storage closet(s) cleaned and organized at all times.
- Maintain cleaning tools and equipment in good working condition and report malfunctions to team lead or supervisor.
- Perform project work such as cleaning lights, lamps, window washing, etc.
- Cover floors when employees call off.
- Clean stairwells, signage, etc.
- Assist with checking floors.
- Clean escalators and elevators.
- Use miscellaneous flooring equipment as needed.
- Assist the team lead and supervisor on any other needs.
- Other duties as assigned.

Skills Required- Adapt and work as a team to ensure daily tasks, project work, requests and work orders are completed on time and within company expectations.
- Be polite and respectful with clients, guests, and co‑workers.
No experience is required. Some experience is preferred.
EducationMust be 18 years of age.
Work Environment / HoursA part‑time or full‑time non‑exempt (hourly) position.
Physical Requirements- Ability to lift items of up to 25 lbs while moving around and perform other physical duties (climb ladder, lifting, bending).
- Ability to spend up to 100% of the working time standing and walking.
Pay wage will vary based on objective factors, including location, years of experience, staffing needs, and other business reasons.
