Facility Technician

ACCESS San Fernando Valley is seeking a Facility Technician to join our team!

Job Purpose

• Work as a team with all members of the veterinary staff and provide support in keeping cleanliness of all areas to ensure the hospital runs smoothly
• Uphold the principles of Quality, Integrity, Compassion, and Service

Duties And Responsibilities

• Wash and stock laundry
• Sweep and mop floors in all areas of the hospital
• Clean wet tables, exam tables, sinks and countertops on a daily basis
• Wash dishes
• Clean out refrigerators as needed
• Empty and line trash cans and recycle bins
• Check and clean drains in front of runs at least once per shift
• Dust/clean light fixtures, vents and cabinet tops
• Clean all restrooms and make sure they are stocked
• Walk through lobby and restrooms ensuring cleanliness
• Sweep/mop lobby and clean up all necessary trash and spills
• Clean up patient potty areas throughout your shift
• Disinfect patient potty areas when necessary
• Clean windows and doors as necessary
• Clean sidewalks and parking lot regularly
• Walk around the perimeter of the hospital and parking lot at least twice per shift (more often if necessary) to ensure the facility is tidy
• Respond favorably to all requests from personnel for help and support
• Responsible for upholding the spirit of ACCESS by handling all necessary tasks that require attention

Compensation
: $19.00/hr
